back from vegas

Just got from Las Vegas. I didn't bring my camera, just took photos on the iPhone of sweet little moments, and everything I ate. Yes, I am one of those people. I take photos of my food. Now that I got that off my chest...

I have over 100 pictures, but here are just a few of my favorites. There is so much to do in each hotel and on the strip, so many restaurants and shows, it can be overwhelming at first. It took me a few days just to get used to the time difference. Just roaming the hotel can take you days, each hotel has multiple restaurants, shows, and stores. For example, the Venetian hotel was celebrating Carnevale, so there was so much fun things to do and see.

I saw two shows while I was down there, Priscilla, Queen of the Dessert, which was so much fun, I loved it. And Cirque du Soleil - Michael Jackson One, which was amazing!

We went to the Luxor to see the Bodies Exhibit, which fascinated me. Each room was dedicated to different parts of our bodies, for example, the first room was human bones, then muscles, the circulatory system, and much more, and what each part of our bodies does. The way they exhibited the different parts of humans was stunning, it really made me appreciate my good health. When you see how each piece, how ever miniscule works together to make you move, think, eat, talk, it is amazing.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you have a beautiful week!

making breakfast

I used to love going out to breakfast, but sometimes I don't feel well at all after eating at some places, I don't know its the oil or grease. But I didn't want to play roulette anymore. I wanted to know what I was eating.

So I started making my own homemade pancakes which is a weekend staple for me, but once in a while the mister craves some meat. I eat meat, but I could live without it. I prefer not eating it as much as I can. On some weekends I will make him a bagel, egg and sausage sandwich, his favorite.

I add a little olive oil to the pan and add lean sausage and cook it for a few minutes on each side, and melt a slice of american cheese on it.

In another pan I make a very thin egg white omelet. I toast a bagel, onion is my favorite, and add the sausage and egg white on top.

Nothing takes better than making it yourself and of course staying in your pjs on a weekend morning.

Have a beautiful day!
