This weekend

I have been up to quite a bit!
Here are some random pictures I took of the weekend.
I have a few more tote bags I created using my artwork. The one above is of an inspiration of mine.

I am adding them to my Etsy shop: http://peachycheek.etsy.com/

I am also giving 10% off for you, my sweet blog pals.

Just use the promo code JuneBlogLove at checkout! Plus there is free shipping on all my tote bags.

I can't get enough of these smoothies!!! I have been making strawberry and banana smoothies for breakfast. They are so filling!!

I have been making different smoothies, but my favorite is my breakfast smoothie.
I use a packet of Breakfast essentials, 3/4 cup of milk, 4 ice cubs, a banana, and a few strawberries, and a multi-vitamin.

Veggies with hummus and chopped up red peppers

We went back to Whole Foods for lunch. I munched on veggies, hummus, hearts of palm, and orzo salad.

The weather changed from sunny to warm, to breezy winds to rain. It was a perfect weekend to curl up and do some reading and watch some movies.

Though I am in Connecticut,  I imagine that the our rocky hills are rocky mountains, and for just a brief second I am in the west, in the desert, in mymind.

  1. I loved this post...what great photos. I love Sade too...have her latest CD. Your totes are incredible...love the loteria bag. I include the loteria playing cards a lot in my art...every time I go to my favorite Ma & Pa grocer, I pick up a bag of playing cards...can't have enough!!

Love the nail colour too. This ol' vieja uses bright colours too...my sister, who's even older than I, introduced those shades last year by taking me to Ulta...love that place.

    Have a great week.

  2. Hi Kim. Wow, those are great pictures. You have been busy. I like the tote, it's very nice. As for the smoothies, yes I have been making them and you just gave me another idea, dropping in my multivitamin and other vitamin C as well. Great idea. I have to write up a concoction. You always have great ideas. Have a great rest of the week.

  6. Hi Gloria- i have been up to so many different things, and so are you:) I like to keep busy! I cant wait to see your concoctions! You have a great week too!

Hi Melissa- Thanks! I want to keep them all :) I decided to start making them because a tote bag is so useful. I bring a gazillion of them with me to the store, because most stores will give you five or ten cents off. So, I am like I have ten:)

  7. Hi Britney Jean - Welcome! Thanks for stopping by. It's funny that you bring up the pig, because just yesterday I was talking to my mom about it and how much I love that pig. She gave it to me as a gift and I was hoping for her to find me another:) right now he is living on top of the fridge and I always smile when I pass it:)
