Advent calendars are a fun way to count down the days till Christmas. This year I was hoping to find the time to make some muslin bags or to hang on a separate tree with hand stamped numbers and fill it with mini goodies and presents to open each day in December.
I also thought it would be great to show a very quick do it yourself if you don't have time or materials to make a large advent calendar.
I purchased a few mini (2x4) kraft paper bags at my local craft shop, white and red paint markers, and I purchased a few candies, mini holiday related goodies. Then I decorated them with white and red markers (my tree theme). You can hang these with wooden clothes pins, tack them to a cork board, or even tuck them inside the tree.
