agave pecans


1/4 cup dark agave nectar
2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1 tablespoons sugar
2 cups pecans

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium bowl, stir together the agave, pepper, salt, allspice and sugar. Add the pecans, tossing to coat well.

Spread the pecans in a baking pan and bake in the middle of the oven 15 to 18 minutes stirring every few minutes. When cool enough to handle, break apart the pecans.
