Peachy's Paper Flowers

I have been having so much fun making bright and large paper flowers. I am adorning my entire artroom with them in colorful and fun vases.

I have small bud vases and I am creating bouquets for upcoming shows and store displays.
As you know my favorite color is turqouise. So I just had to make some turqouise paper flowers.

I love peonies. They are one of my favorite flowers. I am lucky that I have 4 peony bushes outside the house in shades of pink.
They don't last very long. But now they will last forever in paper...

I also put a few vases of them in the family room too.

This bright yellow flower is small and I made it using a lot of yellow tissue paper layers. I love the way it came out:)

Thanks for stopping by and seeing my latest crafts:) I hope you are able to make some paper flowers. They are so fun to do. They are a perfect project to do on a rainy day! I can't wait to adorn my day of the dead alter with them.

Peace,
Kim (aka peachycheek)

Day of the Dead Bracelet

Happy Friday!
I am having so much fun creating different types of jewelry. One of the newest pieces to the peachy cheek jewelry collection is...drum roll... bracelets!

I think I will list one in the shop..how does $25.00 sound? :)

What I love about these bangle bracelets is that it can fit everyone's wrists. I have pretty chunky ones:) Big boned I guess ;) and the metal can be bent very slightly but enough to increase and decrease the wrist size:)

I will also be making custom bracelets. So if you see any art pieces of mine that you like, I can create it as a bracelet (no extra cost) and free U.S Shipping.

Have a wonderful Friday! Have a wonderful weekend.

Ciao,

Kim

How to Make Paper Flowers

I love making Paper Flowers. I haven't made any in a long time, but this seems like such a simple and fun project!

I have a show coming up this Saturday (June 20th) at Dava in Hamden, CT. So if you live in Connecticut come by to Dava for "Artist Day". There will be 12 artists outside of Dava showing and selling our pieces.

I hope to have some paper flowers done by then:) I will have plenty of my new pieces there: rings, necklaces, peachy cheek dolls, mirrors and plenty of other goodies.

I hope to see you there!

Ciao,

Kim

Skully's Debut

I created Skully a little bit ago and she has been my little companion every since.

Skully has been asking me to film her for quite some time. So I finally took out the camera and followed her on one of her adventures to see Mr. Gorygoyle. Let's see what Skully has been up to...

Peachy Tote Bags

I absolutely love tote bags, they are the perfect canvas bag to bring while shopping in the market, or even to the office as a lunch bag.

Now my favorite art paintings I created have been made in tote bags. You can select a range of tote bags with my artwork. The prices range from $10-26. So they are affordable, fun, and great for the environment. They are 100% cotton and range from Large Totes to even an Organic Grocery Tote made from cotton twill.
I can also custom create a tote bag for you, so if there is another peachy cheek art piece I created and you would like a tote bag of, just let me know which one and I will be happy to list it.
